I believe every child can be a learner, and learning occurs in many different styles and places. I also believe every child needs to know God loves them and be shown they are loved. In my classroom the students will learn to be accountable for their responsibilities and actions in a Christ-centered atmosphere. I strive to address their spiritual, academic, physical, emotional and social needs at an age appropriate level. God’s Word is the basis for teaching and discipline across all subject areas.

I graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Lutheran Teacher Degree. I began my teaching career in August of 2000 and have been in the profession ever since. I have also completed the program for my Master’s Degree at the University of St. Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas in 2006. I have taught in two schools. I spent 6 years teaching in Cape Girardeau, Missouri before moving to Aurora. I have been at Peace With Christ Christian School since July 2006.

I was born and raised in Norfolk, Nebraska. I am the second of four children-three girls and a boy. Both of my sister’s are married and have children. I have two nephews and two nieces.
