Our chosen theme for 2011-2012 is “The Lord is My Rock” based on Psalm 18:2.  What a joy and comfort it is to be able to call on the name of our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in good times and in difficult times.  We have opportunities to call on His name every day as we gather in individual classrooms for Bible study and devotions; as a school in weekly chapel services; and as a school family at special events and services.  We have many opportunities to call on His name through the many activities PWCCS offers during the school year.  Students can participate in music, athletics, sports activities, and classroom field trips.  Each year we compete against other schools in a math contest, spelling bee, and First Lego League.   Our student body leads our Christmas worship service and enjoys special days of celebration as part of National Lutheran Schools Week that takes place in early March.

Peace With Christ is in the midst of our 18th year.  We have approximately 160 students in our classrooms from Kindergarten through 8th grade with a classroom limit of 22 students.  Accredited by the National Lutheran Schools Accreditation Agency, as well as the North Central Accreditation Commission, PWCCS offers a strong academic curriculum, but with an emphasis and atmosphere of love, forgiveness, and reconciliation.  Our certified and experienced teaching staff works hard to challenge students and prepare them for the next level of their education.  Our Stanford Achievement scores are typically, as a school, in the top 10-15% in the nation.  In fact, our 8th grade class scored in the top 4% in the nation for Mathematics last spring. We would very much like the opportunity to share more with you.  We look forward to your family becoming part of our school family!
