Eight students were recognized by Mayor Tauer of Aurora for their academic achievement, leadership, and community citizenship. Our students "Soar on Eagles Wings".
PWCCS STUDENTS EXCEL IN MATH
ALL of our students in fourth through eighth grades scored at or above grade level for 2009 on the Stanford Achievement Test. Several factors made this possible. They are: high expectation and quality instruction on the part of teachers, an amazing effort on the part of students, and the support of all of our parents. Quality performances are the result of exceptional commitment and teamwork of the whole school community at Peace With Christ. Soar You Eagles!
Middle School Math Team Wins Denver Area Lutheran School Math Competition
The PWCCS math team led by Tyler Livermont (8th), Trevor Williams (7th), and Michelle Harpham (6th) won the competition for the third consecutive year defeating teams from nine Lutheran schools from the metro area. Other members of the squad included Connor Barnes, Greg Stark, Evan Nicholson, Nick Tirone, Matthew Anderson, and Amanda Minor.
